About Me

Creating has always been an integral part of my identity. For as long as I can remember, I have been a director, storyteller, and artist, and I believe entertainment is the avenue through which I’m meant to make a difference in the world. I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in Entertainment Media Studies and Theatre. Stories are the framework through which I’ve come to understand myself and my surroundings.

I discovered a deep passion for queer film and television during my time at UGA. I’ve drawn a great deal of inspiration from the Athens, GA LGBTQ+ community and drag scene. My own coming out journey, my upbringing in Atlanta, my love for southern queer community, and my experience as a drag queen have all influenced my filmmaking throughout college.

My experience as HBO Max’s Summer 2022 TV Drama Programming intern taught me so many valuable skills necessary to excel in the entertainment industry. I had the opportunity to experience all aspects of development, from script coverage, to shadowing pitches, to even pitching my own series “They, Them, Theirs,” for which I produced a pilot set to be released this summer. I learned to evaluate what stories would best fit HBO Max’s slate and brand, while also identifying new storytelling avenues the company could explore. My experience sharpened my critical skills and taught me how to give constructive, valuable notes to writers and artists, and I witnessed what strong leadership in development and programming looks like. My experience at one of the world’s leading streaming platforms fine-tuned my ability to guide a project towards an artistic vision and seek out narratives that deserve a global platform.
